目前光伏系統(tǒng)中儲能電池通常有三類：a.鉛酸蓄電池；b.鎳錫電池；c.鎳氫電池。
當(dāng)前中國的光伏太陽能電池系統(tǒng)中，除少數(shù)高寒戶外離網(wǎng)光伏系統(tǒng)用鎳鍋電池之外，大多數(shù)都用鉛酸蓄電池。
另外小型太陽能草場燈或者攜帶式太陽能供電系統(tǒng)使用的儲能電池大部分用鎳鍋電池、鎳氫電池，由于成本問題，銼電池很少應(yīng)用，可能還是充／放控制要求較高，太陽能光伏系統(tǒng)中不太常用鏗電池。
下面重點介紹當(dāng)前光伏系統(tǒng)中應(yīng)用最廣的鉛酸蓄電池。

鉛酸蓄電池用于光伏系統(tǒng)大都是固定型蓄電池，通常有如下幾類。

①     固定型中也用富液式電池（排氣式）鉛酸蓄電池。

②     固定型中的閥控密封鉛酸蓄電池。

③     小型密封鉛酸蓄電池。
